Green Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are my new favorite way to start my less hectic mornings. I feel a little more full than I do with regular smoothies. I get to sit down and slowly eat my food rather than just chugging my drink on the way out the door. On busier days, I throw my fruit and veggies in my Nutribullet then I'm out the door. Today, I had more time for breakfast so I enjoyed this yummy bowl of fruit and veggies.

A quick and easy smoothie bowl to start your day
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1/4 cup coconut water
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • Honey (optional)
  1. Add 1/2 banana, mango, spinach, and coconut water to blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour mixture into bowl and top with other 1/2 of banana and granola.
  4. Sprinkle chia seeds on top.
  5. Drizzle with honey for a little sweetness.
